The Rensselaer Plateau Alliance and Rensselaer Land Trust are thrilled to announce the new name of our Rensselaer County land trust: Hudson Taconic Lands!

This name reflects our geographic range—from the Hudson River to the Taconic Crest in Rensselaer County—and our vision for many more years of community-based conservation.

You, our community, remain at the heart of all we do. Thank you for being with us on this journey.

Rest assured, we are still made up of the same staff, board, volunteers, and members. The Rensselaer Plateau will always be a core focus of our work, along with the woodlands and waterways across the county. Youth programming and community engagement will thrive and grow in our new organization. All the land conserved by RPA and RLT is protected in perpetuity and will never be developed.

We will be transitioning to our new name over the coming months. You can look forward to a new website in 2025! For now, you can still find us at rensselaerplateau.org.
